I never liked all these tools that claimed to clear your system. Sure it does make sense logically but they rarely improve my Windows performance.
There is only one reason why I use cleaning software. This is when my browsers (both Chrome and Firefox) are running erratically. For example: Flash crashes often, browser crashes to desktop or even worse: webpage displayed incorrectly.
This is where CCleaner comes in. It detects all the setting, unused and even temp files used by Chrome and Firefox. And most of the time, CCleaner tends to solve the browser issues.
They tend to have several other functions like clearing your registry files but I have to say I rarely need to do it

No Ads Browsing Experience
I watch Youtube videos a lot. And trust me when I say some advertisements are annoying. I don't mind those that you can skip but there are some advertisements that you cannot skip. It plays the whole 1 minute duration and that sucks. I don't mind watching them in small doses because I know it they pay for Google's bandwidth but forcing a 1 minute on your viewer? If they want more viewerships, make sure your advertisements are funny.
Thus, I present you... Adblock (norm or Plus, they're basically both the same). Available on both Chrome and Firefox, it picks up a bunch of advertisement lists and then just disables them.
I really don't mind a site with a lot of advertisement. I do mind, however when they block my view and force you to watch them for the next 1 minute. I don't mind them partially blocking my view while I do my stuff. Seriously guys, you want to drive down 5th avenue and flogged down by a salesman wanting to sell you some car wash.
And... I just found out that it worked for Android phones as well, as long you have itnon-rooted rooted.
Ed: Sorry, I misread the Android stuff. Apparently you need to root it to make it easy for Adblock to run.

Love Reddit But Hate The Interface?
I admit, I'm a 9Gag guy. I love 9Gag because the interface is simple and the information is presented without you having to click on anything else. But everyone knows that Reddit is also practically the front page of the internet. As simple as it may, Reddit is hard to use. Each link opens it's own page and if you love 9Gag, this is one of the worst UI you've ever seen. So what do you do?
Use Reddit Enhancement Suite. It is available on both Firefox and Chrome, so you shouldn't have problems in any of those browser.

What I really like are those small little buttons that just expands the picture instead of opening them in a totally new window or tab.
